The Soo Line Operating Box Car No. 3494-625 was produced in 1957 and 1958 on a Type IIB body with Multi-Block doors. TUSCAN painted body and doors, with WHITE heat stamped lettering. This operating box car is actually numbered "3494625" on the car and it was equipped with bar end trucks that have tabbed couplers.
Rubberized man is activated by a plunger mechanism that is triggered by the use of a UCS or No. 6019 Uncoupling track section.
There are two variations:
Variation A: Painted TUSCAN BROWN body and doors.
Variation B: Painted TUSCAN RED body and doors.
Because this car was never issued as part of a set it is difficult to find and is highly prized by collectors today.
