The Lionel Trains No. 6460-25 Crane CarThe Lionel Bucyrus Erie Crane Car No. 6460-25 was issued in 1954 as part of set No. 1523. This crane has its BLACK plastic cab painted RED with WHITE heat-stamped "LIONEL LINES" in sans-serif lettering on two lines on the sides.

In addition to the WHITE heat-stamped "LIONEL LINES," the die-cast frame is heat stamped "WT 375,000 2 18NH" without hyphens. See No. 6460 for details about the "hyphen variations." This crane car was equipped with bar-end trucks that have magnetic couplers. The suffix "25" denotes a RED painted cab, but only the number "6460" appears on the sides of the chassis. The proper box for this car has the suffix printed on the ends as shown "25 LIONEL 25." There are no variations.
