The Missile Firing Car No. 6544 used the chassis of the Allis-Chalmers car No. 6519, to which Lionel added the top missile firing platform. This car could hurl its missiles across the room at any target by using the RED firing knob. Made from 1960 until 1964, this car came with AAR trucks and disc couplers. It is difficult to find with the brake wheels intact. There is one variation that has the control panel with BLACK lettering. This variation is considerably scarcer. The missiles have been reproduced.
