The Lionel Refrigerator CarsThe Railway Express Agency Refrigerator Car No. 6572 was available in 1958 and 1959 and was uncataloged in 1963. GREEN painted body with GOLD heat stamped lettering, REA logo decal, and control panel sliding door on one side. In 1958, some cars that came in set No. 1600 headed up by the Burlington Alco No. 216 had 2400 Series Passenger Car trucks. There are three variations:
Variation A: Painted DARK GREEN with passenger trucks.
Variation B: Painted DARK GREEN with bar-end trucks with magnetic tabbed couplers.
Variation C: Painted LIGHT GREEN with AAR trucks with disc couplers. (1963)
