Lionel Trains TW TransformerThe Lionel ECU-1 was used in conjunction with the "Electronic Set" that was available in 1948 and 1949. Hooked in between the Type VW Transformer and the track it would use carrier waves to unload the No. 5459 and uncouple any of the various cars that came in this set without the use of a UCS section of track.
