The Boat Car No. 6801 has four variations. Three of these concerned the color of the boat. The other (A) (Mold 6511-2) was issued in 1957, and had bar-end trucks with the number to the right of "LIONEL." Later issues (Mold 6424-11 Die 2) would have AAR trucks with disc couplers, and on these releases the number would be to the left. With the exception of the BROWN boat (A Variation), the boat is numbered 6801-60 and this number appears as raised digits in the cockpit. Reproduction boats do not have this number. Last produced in 1960.
