The Lionel TV Transmitter Set No. 968 was available only in 1958 and came with 28 pieces of Plasticville housed in a Type I box.

The set consisted of the following Plasticville items:

1. No. 1618 TV Transmitting Station

2. No. V-6 Vehicle Assortment 2 cars only

3. No. 1302 Farm Implements 1 jeep only

4. No. 1075 Small Fence & Gate 11 fence and 1 gate      section

5. No. WH-5, MB-6 Fire Hydrant, and Mail Box 1 of each only

6. No. 1404 Pine Trees 4 Pine Trees only

7. No. 1619 Citizens 6 citizens only

Lionel did not include an instruction sheet with this set. There are two variations:

Variation A: TV Station has WHITE walls with RED roof.

Variation B: TV Station has RED walls with WHITE roof.
