The Lionel Large Gondoala CarsThe New York Central Gondola Car No. 6562 was the last version of this car to have the metal chassis. Produced between 1956 and 1958 on a Type 2a body, this car had bar-end trucks with tabbed couplers, and usually came with four RED canisters. Note that the "N" is in the third panel, that "NYC" is over-scored, "6562" is not underscored and "NEW 2-49" on the sides. There are no steps or brake wheels.
